Cecilia came to the law as a mature student having previously studied History of Art at the Victoria and Albert Museum and worked in a variety of countries and fields including 12 years at Oxford University.

An increasing interest in Human Rights led her to undertake a degree in Law and Politics at Oxford Brooks University. Her degree dissertation was a comparison of civil rights’ protection. She completed a further module in International Human Rights and combined working for a year at Oxford Magistrates Court with being an advisor at Oxford Citizen’s Advice Bureau.

Cecilia’s area of practice includes public law, immigration law, employment law and general civil common law. She has worked on behalf of and successfully represented asylum clients from all over the world in the High Court, at Judicial Review, as well as at Tribunal and Adjudicator level. Her employment work covers most aspects of employment law at employment Tribunals and at the EAT. Her civil practice has been in both the County and High Court.
