Linda is a member of Chamber’s Management Committee here at 7 New Square.

She is a qualified dentist whose expertise as a barrister extends to clinical negligence and personal injury as well as her main area of work in employment law. Her employment practice includes both litigation and non-contentious work such as drafting contracts of employment and specific policies and procedures to promote risk management in the work-place.

She is a part-time Employment Tribunal Chairman and a Legal Assessor to the General Medical Council. She writes regular features on occupational health and employment issues affecting the various branches of the medical profession. She has contributed chapters to a number of textbooks on occupational health and is a contributor to Atkin’s Court Forms, Health and Safety at Work (Butterworths).

Linda’s interest in further education is expressed through her activities as a pupil supervisor and as an advocacy trainer at Middle Temple. She also lectures on employment law on topics related to health and safety at work and on medico-legal matters for Health Education Authorities and training organisations. She devises and runs in-house training programmes for solicitors and lay clients.
