Sarah was called to the Bar in 1999 and is a member of the specialist employment team. From 2007, Sarah became an approved Pupil Supervisor and is also part of Chambers Management Committee. Sarah specialises in all aspects of employment law and has acted successfully for both Respondents and Claimants at Employment Tribunals across the country and the EAT. She accepts instructions directly from the public and businesses alike and her clients include household names.

As well as advocacy work, Sarah has extensive experience in drafting contacts of employment and employment handbooks. She has drafted and advised upon a wide range of employment policies and procedures including disciplinary, grievance, absence, sickness, redundancy, whistleblowing, maternity, paternity and holiday pay. Her Tribunal work is broad ranging covering all aspects of discrimination, breach of contract, parental leave, redundancy, variation of contractual terms, constructive dismissal, unfair dismissal and minimum wage disputes.

In 2004, Sarah undertook a sabbatical at Eversheds LLP and was in house Counsel to the Employment Team. She has contributed to Sweet and Maxwells Employment Law Practice and Procedure.

Her employment law practice is complemented with corporate immigration expertise and disciplinary tribunal and appeal work in professional disciplinary matters. She delivers training seminars and lectures on employment law and executive immigration, including participation in mock employment tribunals for training purposes.
