Clerks

The Barristers at 7 New Square are supported by a team of broadly experienced Clerks.

The Clerks provide a friendly and efficient approach to managing clients and provide guidance and assistance in the appropriate choice of Counsel.

The clerks' room is staffed from 8.45am until 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

Outside these hours one of our Clerks can be contacted on 07799 44 88 58 or a message can be left on our answer-phone which will be dealt with promptly when chambers reopens on the following working day.


Our Clerks

Barbara joined Chambers in June 2009 as First Junior Clerk. She brings with her very considerable skills and experience of clerking and is therefore well able to deal with all clerking matters for those wishing to instruct members of 7 New Square.


Chris joined Chambers in 2009. Chris has experience of clerking in a busy set and brings with him good organisation and administrative skills. Chris maintains Barristers' diaries and carries out all administrative tasks efficiently and promptly.


David came to Chambers in 2003 after a long career in business. He is primarily responsible for fee collection. His commercial experience provides Chambers clients with an organised and efficient approach to managing fees. David's friendly and approachable manner enables clients to keep a flow of communication, even in strained economic times.
